To avoid any "innuendo" , lets give FGW Customer Services a chance to clear up yesterdays mess :
"Thank you for your emails of 18 December 2006. I have checked our records and provided below the reasons for the alterations as requested.
1728 Cheltenham Spa to Westbury - cancelled due to unit shortage
1522 Portsmouth to Cardiff - additional stops added due to cancellation of 1539 Southampton to Westbury service
0717 Melksham to Swindon - cancelled due to unit shortage
1950 Melksham to Swindon - cancelled due to unit shortage
Westbury to Southampton services - many cancelled due to unit shortages
1452 Newquay to Gunnislake - cancelled due to a mechanical failure
1725 Gunnislake to Newquay - cancelled due to a mechanical failure
Thank you again for your emails and I trust that this information is satisfactory to your needs."
