Reporting to the Head of Finance - Rail Service Delivery, key responsibilities include:

Proactively monitoring the financial performance of a portfolio of Train Operating Companies (TOCs) whilst cultivating strong relationships

Entering into high level commercial negotiations and discussions directly impacting on the partnership with the TOCs

Influencing decision making and providing robust financial support within a regional franchise team

Providing first-class, clear financial information to senior management

The successful applicants will be fully qualified accountants who can demonstrate successful commercial careers where they have instigated change and innovation. In person, they will be proactive, self motivated, assertive, diplomatic and candid. Excellent communication skills are a must.
